I think we all want our life to be one of significance. I think we will all get to the end of our life (if we don't already think about it before then) and think to ourselves "Did my life matter? Did I matter? Did I live a life of significance?"

We can all climb the corporate ladder, become successful in our businesses and even be given the "Mum of the Year" coffee cup from our kids and feel very significant. And all of these (and more) examples are fine representation for what living a significant life could represent for each of us. And I really believe that at some level we get to choose that.

Often we can spend our whole lives not knowing why we are here. In a constant search for our purpose with no end in sight can be frustrating, bewildering and heartbreaking. I think the challenge is that we put a whole lot of pressure on figuring out what it is. I mean, it's kinda a big deal. Imagine if we think it's one thing and it ends up being something completely different?! Then there is another thought process. Imagine if we do figure out what it is and then we do it and we suck at it?! What then?

Either way, we are likely finding ourselves in confusion and lack clarity because we are either feeling the pressure to 'get it right' or the pressure 'not to get it wrong'!

First of all, you do know what your purpose is. You are keeping yourself from declaring it to yourself and the world (for the above reasons).
