However, many people struggle with knowing their strengths. Afterall, we are told most our lives we need to improve on our weaknesses. However, I have to agree with John C. Maxwell who suggests, if we spent our whole lives focusing on our weaknesses we would come to the end of our lives as an average version of ourselves.
Knowing our strengths also dispells the theory "we can do anything if we just try hard enough". Maybe instead, we would be more beneficial to have bumper stickers and fridge magnets that read "Do what you are good at. It makes life a little easier for everyone."

Knowing my top 5 strengths eventually led me to identifying a purpose statement (which you can do for free by clicking here) that supports me everywhere in my life. Afterall, we get to operate on our strengths and purpose everywhere and with everyone. Not just in our businesses.
