It's time ladies.
It's time we all give up the untruths we hold onto in our lives.
Things like the fallacies about not 'being enough', not 'being smart enough', or not 'having what it takes'.
And then there's also those other 'things' where we think they are truth because we have believed them for so long. You know the ones. Like having a 'fear of success' or 'fear of failure' or 'being unworthy' or 'nor deserving'.
These 'things' are labels we have allowed ourselves, our parents, our friends and even our husbands to place on us. It's not about who is at fault here of who didn't always treat us as we have deserved to be treated, but instead about simply choosing to accept ourselves. Right now. Not when we 'have it all together', not when 'we have the money' or 'the education' to feel as if who we are is enough. It's right now.
It's the moment of NOW when you get to choose and then again in another 30 seconds and then an hour from now. And then again when you wake up tomorrow. Oh! And then when you are sitting on your couch eating a tub (yes! a whole tub!) of ice cream feeling sorry for yourself that you again get to choose. Oh! And then again when you create something extraordinary and your client, child or husband thinks you are the 'bees knees' - own it! Own all of who you are is enough!
It is about self-acceptance. Loving yourself - all of yourself. The GOOD, BAD and the UGLY. Or as the dictionary tells us:
Self-Acceptance is the ability to love yourself unconditionally, no matter what flaws and traits exist.
Truly, who you are IS already enough. Own that and clarity of what you want to be when you grow up will start to reveal itself. Until then, we aren't ready for that kind of clarity. Kinda something to do with a karate kid moment of "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
In love and clarity of your 'rockstarness',
